Time for a fall cleanout! Shop your neighbors’ curbside sales throughout Stone Ridge or set up your own sale from home. We’ll also offer our community shredding service, making it a great day to clear out the clutter. Register to have your list published for the Fall Yard Sale.
Teen Takeover: Glow & Go

Stone Carver Pool
This one is just for our Stone Ridge teens! We’re bringing WOW Wheelz to Stone Ridge for an exciting go-kart experience where you can race the course, test your skills, and challenge your friends. When you’re not on the track, hang out with the DJ, snap photos at our neon photo station, grab snacks, and take part in a variety of glow games and activities throughout the event.

Association Office Closed Labor Day
The Association office will be closed Monday, Sep 7 in observance of Labor Day. The office will reopen on Tuesday at 9 AM.
Please be advised that there will be no trash collection on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
Patriot will delay its weekly collection schedule by one day. The updated schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, September 8: Trash collection
- Friday, September 11: Trash, recycling, and yard waste collection
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
Pool Season Ends Labor Day
The final day pools are open is Monday, Sep 7 (Labor Day). Don’t miss your chance to enjoy the pools before they close for the year.

Tennis Courts Reserved for Lessons
The tennis courts will be reserved the following times for tennis lessons:
- Greenstone Court A
- Mon–Thurs: 5:30-7:30 PM
- Stone Carver Court
- Fri: 5:30-6:30 PM
- Sat–Sun: 8 AM-12 PM
Board of Directors Election – Call for Candidates
The 2026 election has 2 open positions on the Board of Directors. Owners interested in participating on the Board and making important business decisions for the community should consider running for election. Please note the Declaration of Candidacy and biography need to be completed and submitted by Oct 7.

Landscaping Reminder: Keep Lawns Mowed
Please keep your lawn well maintained in accordance with Community Code 1: Design & Maintenance Standards. Lawns should be mowed regularly, weeds trimmed and edges maintained along sidewalks, driveways and mailboxes. Grass in the front, back and side yards must not exceed 6 inches. If a lawn is overgrown, a lawn tag will be placed on the front door. If it is not mowed within 7 days, Stone Ridge will arrange for mowing and charge the homeowner’s account.
Yard Waste Collection NOW THURSDAYS
Blasting Underway at Shah/Cross Development Site
Please be aware scheduled blasting is underway at the Shah/Cross development site off Gum Spring Road. Blasting will occur around 1 PM each day and last 15–20 minutes. For everyone’s safety and awareness, a warning horn will sound a few moments before blasting begins. Please stay indoors and away from the site during this time. Blasting activities are expected to continue Monday through Friday through October 11. Each blasting event will follow the same schedule and safety procedures, including the warning horn prior to blasting. We understand this work may cause a temporary inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. For questions and more information on Van Metre’s development project, call 703-348-5824.
