No Trash Service Thanksgiving
There will be NO trash or recycling collection on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, 11/24).
Patriot’s Trash and Recycling collection service will resume on Saturday, 11/26. Regularly scheduled service will continue on Monday, 11/28.
Arcola Elementary School’s Winter Wonderland Craft Show & Holiday Market

Arcola Elementary School PTA is hosting their annual Winter Wonderland Craft Show & Holiday Market on Nov. 19 from 10 AM-2 PM. There will be over 20 vendors and homemade crafters to shop from along with a separate kids holiday shop where they can buy gifts for under $15. The entire community is welcome for this free event. Breakfast and free children crafts will be included. Please direct questions or vendor requests to arcolaPtaEvents@gmail.com.
There will also be a donation collection for the Dulles South Food Pantry. Please consider bringing non-perishable items to help those in need this holiday season.

Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony

Our Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at Mineral Springs Circle will take place on Dec. 3 at 6 PM! Performances by the Arcola Elementary School Chorus. Residents can place ornaments on the tree anytime starting Nov. 28.
20th Anniversary Logo Contest
Stone Ridge is turning 20 in 2023 & we are looking for our residents to create our 20th Anniversary logo! Open to ALL Stone Ridge residents. The winning logo will appear on all 20th Anniversary Celebration materials, event t-shirts and promotional items. Submissions will be accepted through Dec. 15. Click here for more information.

Metro Silver Line Bus/Parking Fares Waived
The Board of Supervisors approved waiving Metrorail station parking garage fees during the opening week of the Silver Line extension and waiving fares on the county’s new Silver Line bus routes through January 2, 2023.

On Saturday, Nov. 19, Loudoun County will host a celebration of the opening of the Silver Line Metrorail extension at Loudoun Station, 43751 Central Station Drive in Ashburn, 12-3 PM. The free, family-friendly event will include live music and activities for all ages as well as food available for purchase from food trucks and nearby restaurants.
