Hello Spring! Easter Bunny Delivers 
Registration OPENS Monday, Feb. 15
Celebrate Easter with a delivered basket from the Easter Bunny! Registration to receive a basket will open via CourtReserve.com. Each basket will cost $10 and will be delivered on Saturday, April 3. Contents in basket may contain allergens. More info on basket registration will be posted on our website and social media networks.

Scouting For Food – Local Food Drive
Saturday, Feb. 20 | 10 AM – 1 PM at Byrnes Ridge Park
Scouting for Food is your local Cub Scout and Boy Scout annual food drive supporting the families in our community. Donate by dropping food off at Byrnes Ridge Park OR click here to register to have the scouts come to your home and pick up your donations from your curb! Most needed items: cereal, cereal bars, oats, jelly, shaped pasta, pasta sauce, canned fruit, canned chicken, tomato soup. No expired food or glass.

Test your knowledge and skills against other members of the community in our first Virtual Trivia Night! Limited to 50 people/teams on first come, first serve basis. One registration needed per team. Registration for Trivia Night will open via CourtReserve.com. Prizes (and bragging rights) will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

FREE Shred Event for residents
Saturday, Feb. 27 | 10 AM – 1 PM at Stone Carver Drive pool parking lot
For Stone Ridge residents only! Make sure you bring your Stone Ridge membership ID card (pool pass) with you. Collect your sensitive documents and bring them in boxes, bags, or containers. Please make sure there are no metal objects such as binder clips, paperclips, staples, etc. This is a first come, first serve basis event. A container for the Dulles South Food Pantry will also be on site to collect donations of non-perishable food items. Please consider bringing a donation to help those in need.

Glass Recycling Program Expands to Arcola
Where: 24244 Stone Springs Blvd.
Glass needs to be separated from your plastic and cardboard waste and recycled at designated locations. Recently, the county has added an additional glass recycling collection site in Arcola. Visitors to the recycling center will see large purple bins labeled “Glass Recycling,” where glass bottles and jars are to be placed. Please follow these guidelines:

  • Only glass bottles and jars.
  • The glass bottles and jars must be empty and rinsed out.
  • No lids or caps.
  • Deposit bottles and jars loosely in the recycling containers provided, not in bags.
