Happy New Year!
Wishing everyone a happy & healthy 2022!
Keep Your #LightsUp4Heroes Campaign
StoneSprings Hospital & HCA Virginia are asking the community’s help to show their support for all frontline healthcare workers this holiday season. Keep your holiday lights up for Healthcare Heroes through Jan. 31, 2022 to show your support. Here is what you can do:
- Take a picture of your holiday lights display and post it on social media with the hashtag #LightsUp4Heroes
- Download the printable flyer and place it in your window or on your door to show your support for the campaign.
- And, if you know a healthcare worker personally, be sure you take the time to recognize them for their work.
- Visit Keep Your Lights Up to learn more.
Christmas Tree Collection & Recycling
Trees will be collected on the first two Mondays in January (3rd & 10th) and must be free of all decorations. Christmas trees should not be placed out for pickup in plastic bags. Loudoun County offers locations for residents to drop off their Christmas trees for recycling. The closest site is at the South Riding Town Hall in the rear parking lot next to the tennis court. Christmas tree recycling information is available at www.loudoun.gov/recycle.
Remember the “9 PM Routine” this Holiday Season!
Please help the LCSO stop “crimes of opportunity” by remembering to lock your vehicle doors, windows and garage doors at night. LCSO wants you to get in the habit of making sure your vehicle and house doors/windows are locked. Please remember to report any suspicious activity by calling the non-emergency line 703-777-1021.
