Loudoun students returned to school TODAY! School buses will be picking up students, kids on bikes will be hurrying to get to school, harried parents will be dropping their kids off before work. It’s never more important for drivers to slow down and pay attention than when kids are present – especially before and after school. Please SLOW DOWN & DRIVE CAREFULLY!

School Pool Hours Return Today
Please note summer break hours have ended. Starting TODAY, Aug. 24, the Nettle Mill & Greenstone pools will open 4:30-8 pm, Stone Carver pool 11 am-8 pm during the week. All three pools will remain open 10 am-8 pm on the weekends.

Float Nights Continue Every Thursday

Only 2 more Float Nights left this summer! Bring your own pool floats for an evening of fun every Thursday throughout the summer at the Greenstone Pool ONLY. Pool management may restrict the number of floats in the pool, as well as floats that may be a safety risk.

Dulles Direct Town Hall Meeting – Aug 30
Dulles Supervisor Matt Letourneau will be hosting a town hall meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 7 PM at the J. Michael Lunsford MS auditorium (26020 Ticonderoga Rd, South Riding). The primary topic of discussion will be several land use applications that are coming to the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors later this fall, including Stone Ridge’s Section 40 (former church property on the corner of Mineral Springs & Greenstone). The meeting will also be livestreamed on Letourneau’s Facebook page here.

Road/Sidewalk Work in Stone Ridge
Sealcoating of all private roads will begin Sept. 8. Please note road milling/paving/patching, sidewalk repairs and paving of the asphalt walking paths will continue throughout the community. Residents who will be impacted by road work will be notified directly. Updates to the paving schedule will be posted at stoneridgehoa.org/2023streetpaving as they become available.

Stone Ridge’s Dog Swim is back! Registration is required. Dogs Must Be: At least six months old; Spayed or neutered; Friendly and comfortable with group play; Physically fit for swimming and playing; Capable of safely exiting a swimming pool. Owners must sign a liability waiver (register) and bring proof of current rabies vaccination.

Final Summer Concert

Need to Dispose Large Items? Call Patriot!
Larger items such as furniture, mattresses, carpet and appliances will not be picked up with regular trash on Mondays and Thursdays. Residents must call Patriot at 703-257-7100 to schedule a special pickup, additional fees may apply.
