Avonlea Discussion with Peterson

As you have probably heard, Peterson Companies just announced a new direction for the Avonlea project. Please join me Thursday, December 13 for my next Dulles Direct Town Hall Meeting, in which I’ll be joined by an executive from the company to discuss the changes to the project and what the future holds.
There have been a lot of questions about this announcement. This is your chance to hear directly from the company and ask them questions. I know this is shorter notice than normal for our meetings. Given the recent news, I wanted to take advantage of Peterson’s willingness to discuss it directly with the community so we were able to get something scheduled.
Following our discussion with Peterson, I’ll move on to other County issues including land use, retail, road and signal construction, and other projects.
The meeting begins at 7:00 PM in the auditorium at Freedom High School (25450 Riding Center Drive in South Riding). I hope to see you there!
