Scoop the Poop!
Pet waste is not only smelly, it’s unsightly, and a health risk to pets, people, and bodies of water. Loudoun County Department of Stormwater Management has reported occurrences of pet waste being thrown into stormwater drains within our community. According to the Loudoun County Ordinance 612.19(9), this act “shall be deemed unlawful and enforced by proceeding before a Judge of the General Court in like manner with like right of appeal as if such violations were Class Four misdemeanors.” Please properly dispose of your pets’ waste.
