Stone Ridge Neighbors:

Our pool contractor has noticed a disturbing increase in the number of times the lifeguards have needed to go in the water already this summer. They have had significantly more reports of “close calls” than ever before.

Since we are only a few weeks into summer, they asked that we send out these reminders:
• Lifeguards are not babysitters. Watching your child is your responsibility.
• Persons unable to demonstrate swimming proficiency to the lifeguards are not permitted in the main pool unattended without being within arm’s reach of a Responsible Person at all times.
• Persons who are 12 years and younger must be accompanied and closely supervised by a competent person aged 16 years or older “Responsible Person” at all times in order to use the pool.
Swimming pools are fun but they can also be dangerous and accidents happen when you least expect it.

Have a safe and enjoyable summer!
