Dear Residents,

Yesterday we reported that one of our pool employees tested positive for COVID-19.  Since learning this news, we have been working with NV Pools to make sure every precaution has been taken. We are confident that it is safe to re-open the pools beginning tomorrow, July 27, 2020.

Over the past two days the following things have happened:

  • NV Pools has done a thorough COVID cleaning of all areas of all three pools.
  • All residents who were at the pools when this employee was on duty have been notified in accordance with instructions from consultation with Loudoun County Director of Health, Dr. David Goodfriend.
  • All pool staff are being tested and must present negative test results before they return to work. No other positive tests results have been received.

Everyone takes this situation seriously, and we thank NV Pools for their quick response.  Thanks to their efforts, and all of the staff members willingness to get tested so quickly.

We continue to remind everyone that we cannot guarantee that the facilities will be COVID free because as everyone is aware, this virus can come from anyone.  What we can assure you is that we will continue to make every effort to keep our facilities as safe as possible.
