Please be sure to join us in South Riding on Saturday, September 14 at 1:00 p.m. for the parade honoring our very own Little League Southeastern Region Champions, Loudoun South American All Stars! The parade will also feature the Virginia Champion 8-10 All Stars, and other fall Little League teams.
To make this a special event, we need as many of you there as possible to cheer for these little leaguers along the parade route and at the festival and ceremony that follows at Freedom High School.
The parade will depart the Dulles South Recreation Center at 1:00 p.m. and travel down Riding Center Drive to Freedom High School. Riding Center Drive will be closed between Pine Forest Drive and Justice Drive beginning at 12:50 p.m. There will be a “rolling reopening” from north to south as the parade makes its way to Freedom High School. Residents on the east and west sides of Riding Center Drive should seek alternate routes during the parade closure.
The festivities at Freedom High School will include inflatables, games, music and food organized by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services. The celebration is a joint effort of Loudoun County, the Loudoun South Little League and South Riding Proprietary.
