Loudoun County has published a draft Loudoun 2040 Comprehensive Plan on its website at loudoun.gov/Loudoun2040. The Planning Commission has scheduled a special public hearing on the draft plan Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Loudoun County Government Center, 1 Harrison Street SE in Leesburg. Written comments may be sent at any time to loudounpc@loudoun.gov or to the Loudoun County Planning Commission, 1 Harrison Street SE, 3rd floor, PO Box 7000, Leesburg, Virginia 20177-7000.
Anyone who is interested in speaking at the Planning Commission public hearing is encouraged to do so in advance by calling the Department of Planning and Zoning at 703-777-0246 prior to 12:00 p.m., November 7, 2018. Speakers may also sign up at the hearing. The hearing will be televised on Comcast Government Channel 23, Open Band Channel 40, and Verizon FiOS Channel 40. It will also be available for viewing through the Loudoun County webcast system.
